Stock Show Art Contest

The Stock Show Art Contest is available to students who live in Texas. Students who are interested in submitting outstanding works of art at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo are welcome to apply. The Stock Show Art Contest offers youth ages 5 to 18, who live in Texas, the chance to enter their original works of art depicting or expressing the culture of Texas and western environments. ***NEW FOR THE 2027 ART CONTEST*** offers $20,000 in scholarship prizes. More than $80,000 will be given away in cash & scholarships, and teachers can win $6,000 for their classrooms. Entering is FREE, and each submission will receive two (2) one-day passes to gain admission to the FWSSR grounds. Must be a Texas high school student to enter. Entry limit: First 250 entries accepted; 1 entry per student. Digital submissions only. Photo releases are required if identifiable people are included. Subject/theme includes traditional, abstract, realism, contemporary, or impressionism styles that depict or express the culture of Texas and western environments, both contemporary and historical.
