Mary Tittle Leadership Scholarship

The Mary Tittle Leadership Scholarship offers financial assistance to a student in Florida who are members of the Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA) and the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) and demonstrate exceptional leadership through contributions to their local FNSA and NSNA. Students studying for a certification or degree in nursing at a college or university in Florida are welcome to apply. The award amount is $500. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an ADN or BSN nursing program in the State of Florida OR a recent graduate (current academic year), in good standing with their academic institution. Active NSNA/FNSA membership is required for leadership-based scholarships. Required application materials include: completed scholarship cover sheet, current GPA and Nursing GPA, NSNA membership number and expiration date, letter of recommendation from Chapter Consultant or Dean/Director verifying good standing, and a one-page typed essay on the prompt: 'Discuss your contributions to NSA membership, what you have gained from your involvement, and how you plan to contribute to professional nursing organizations in the future.'
