Colorado State University scholarships are first-time freshmen admitted to a degree-seeking program on CSU’s main campus in Fort Collins. All scholarships will only be for fall and spring semesters; unless otherwise noted. If a student starts in the summer the scholarship still cannot be used until fall semester. All awards require enrollment in on-campus credits and students in CSU Online programs are not eligible. Students who have attended another college or university after high school graduation are not eligible. The number of recipients will vary. The Green and Gold Scholarship is Colorado State University's most prestigious award for Colorado residents. Eligible applicants must have a 3.8 GPA and be enrolled as a full-time student. Applicants must submit a complete application for admission by February 1 for fall semester or November 1 for spring semester. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for renewal. 2025-2026 Scholarship Amount: Colorado residents who are eligible may receive awards ranging from $2,500 to $4,000 per year (half paid each fall and spring semester). These scholarships can be renewed for up to four years, meaning you could earn $10,000 to $16,000 over the course of four years. Recipients must also be in the top 25% of the admitted students from their high school. If selected, students will be notified by email starting mid-December. No additional scholarship application is needed — awards are automatically considered based upon the information provided in the application for admission.
