BrivicMedia Scholarship

BrivicMedia Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduates from Houston or at colleges in Texas who are working on a degree in the field of media planning/buying. The Media Alliance of Houston Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to college juniors or seniors who have at least one full-time semester left of college. The scholarships are awarded to students attending a public or private university that offers radio, television, film, public relations, advertising/communications, digital media or broadcasting as the major emphasis of study and/or students from the Greater Houston Area who are studying the fields mentioned above. Applicants must have completed 75 hours of college course work by December 2025 and be currently enrolled as a full-time student (carrying a minimum of 12 hours per semester) with a declared major in radio, television, film, public relations, advertising/communications, digital media or broadcasting. Applications are due by April 1, 2026. Applicants are considered based on educational and career goals in their major field of study, activities and honors, service to community and references. Scholarship winners will be notified in May 2026, and will be formally announced in July 2026 at the organization's monthly luncheon.
